Please meet Attorney of the Week, Nadim Hegazi, a Senior Product Counsel at eBay, Inc. As product counsel for the Buyer Experience Team, Nadim advises on innovative generative AI products and features on a global scale from ideation to launch in the areas of privacy, intellectual property, and consumer protection. He is an active member of eBay’s DEI Committee and provides numerous pro bono services.
Nadim has completed the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD)‘s Pathfinder Program and is currently enrolled in the MCCA’s Sources of Success Program, as well as University of California, Berkeley Law Executive Education’s inaugural General Counsel (GC) University. Previously, he served as treasurer of the Charles Houston Bar Association, the largest and oldest bar association for African Americans in Northern California. As treasurer, Nadim spearheaded the creation of the Charles Houston Bar Institute, a 501(c)(3) that has raised more than $100,000 in scholarships.
He also served on The Bar Association of San Francisco’s Barristers Club Board and was awarded the Minority Bar Coalition’s Unity Award for his contributions. With experience as a former prosecutor (with more than 20 jury trials), a litigator for tech companies, and a certified public accountant, Nadim is adept at navigating the intersection of law, technology, and business.
