Please meet Attorney of the Week, Jason Stiehl, a litigation partner at the law firm Crowell & Moring LLP who focuses on advertising and brand protection. With his unique background in both class actions and trade secret protection, Jason works with clients to protect their brands starting at concept inception through production, marketing, supply chain, and sales, ensuring the proper protections and reviews are in place at each stage.
When litigation strikes, he serves as his client’s go-to defense, including securing recent early dismissals for clients such as ALDI USA, Mondelēz International, and Molson Coors Beverage Company. This year, he is especially proud of his support of more than 50 domestic violence organization amici in filing a brief in the successful reversal by the Supreme Court of the United States in the U.S. v. Rahimi decision.
Further, Jason sits on two boards supporting Chicago’s diverse and underserved populations: Friends of the Children – Chicago and Greater Chicago Legal Clinic, Inc. His passion for the things his clients do and the way they do it makes him a champion of the companies he represents both in the courtroom and the boardroom.
