Please meet Attorney of the Week, Iman Wells, who is a Partner at Nukk-Freeman & Cerra, PC Employment Attorneys, a dynamic National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) certified employment defense boutique firm. She specializes in employment defense litigation and regularly advises on a wide range of employment issues including compliance with federal and state laws, performance management, and DEI practices and policies.
Iman works proactively with clients to stay updated on the ever-changing landscape of employment law and best practices to solve workplace issues. She takes a creative approach to litigation and counseling with an eye towards minimizing the risk of litigation, where possible.
Iman splits her time between DC and NJ and is licensed to practice in NJ, NY, and DC. She is involved with the National Employment Law Council (NELC), was a 2019 NELC Academy Fellow, and was a 2022–2023 New Jersey State Bar Association Leadership Academy Fellow. Iman is involved with the Garden State Bar Association and has regularly presented at GSBA’s Labor & Employment Symposium. She also served as a volunteer attorney mentor with NJLEEP for several years.
